Meet Yelisey Tokar; our co-founder, lead technician, and the expertise behind NW Vans, the commercial division of Tokar Autohaus. Yelisey has spent over a decade specializing in Sprinter vans. His career began at McCoy Freightliner’s Sprinter store and led him to Mercedes-Benz, where he became a Sprinter Lead Technician. Along the way, he spent years mentoring apprentices on the job, sharing the knowledge, precision, and problem-solving skills that quality repairs demand. Through Mercedes-Benz training in Long Beach, he continued expanding his expertise in new technologies and increasingly advanced vehicle systems. His dedication earned him Employee of the Month recognition, with his dealership describing him as “a tremendous asset to our team and overall success.” The recognition highlighted his long hours, commitment to keeping fleet customers moving, and contribution to customer satisfaction and the growth of their Sprinter department. But experience also shaped his expectations of what service should be. Seeing gaps in workmanship and transparency within the dealership industry motivated him to help build a shop grounded in his own standards: honest recommendations, careful repairs, and accountability to the customer. Today, those standards guide his work at NW Vans. Whether your Sprinter supports your business or carries your family on its next adventure, Yelisey understands how much depends on it, and takes that responsibility personally. We’re proud to introduce the person behind the work. Welcome to NW Vans at Tokar Autohaus.
